Abstract

The annotation guidelines for narrative levels and narrative acts have been developedin conjunction with my master thesis, the goal of which is to distinguishplot relevant settings from rather mentioned spaces in literary texts. For this, thedetermination of narrative levels is a requirement to precisely classify settings.Nevertheless, the guidelines itself were developed independently from the spatialclassification task.
